  • Product Details
  • Product Description

This product series is a thermosetting powder coating composed primarily of saturated polyester resin and epoxy resin, supplemented with necessary pigments, fillers, and additives. It is produced through melt extrusion and grinding, and boasts excellent physical, chemical, and decorative properties. Depending on requirements, this product series can be formulated into products with varying curing temperatures (140℃ to 200℃), different surface textures (smooth, sand-textured, or brushed), and diverse gloss levels (7% to 95%).

    Storage conditions

Under conditions where the temperature is below 30℃ and the relative humidity is below 60%, the shelf life is 6 months. If the shelf life exceeds 6 months, the product must undergo re-inspection before it can be used.

    Powder curing requirements

180℃ for 15 minutes (workpiece temperature); 200℃ for 10 minutes (workpiece temperature). For matte finishes, extend the time by 5 minutes. Refer to the product’s test report for details.

For standard products, the coating thickness should be between 60 and 80 μm; for textured products, the coating thickness varies depending on the size of the texture. Exceeding this recommended thickness can lead to pinholes or inconsistencies in the texture.

The relevant test results were obtained under the premise of substrate and operational processes and parameters that meet the corresponding standard requirements (or specific requirements) and may differ from the effects achieved with substrates using the customer’s actual operational processes and parameters. Furthermore, the tests were conducted under laboratory conditions and are for reference only.

    Operation Process and Parameters

    • Common steel, zinc phosphate treatment
    • Galvanized steel sheet, iron phosphate treatment
    • Aluminum material – Chromate treatment

Before the above processing steps, the substrate must be thoroughly cleaned to remove any oil and grease, and then dried. The drying temperature should not exceed 200℃ to avoid damaging the operational process and film parameters, which could result in the final powder coating performance failing to meet the required standards.

Before spraying castings (especially those that have been poured) and hot-dip galvanized parts, it is essential to heat them at high temperature to remove internal moisture and gases, thus preventing bubble formation. Please notify us in advance so that we can make appropriate adjustments to the formulation.

Note: Customers should periodically inspect the quality of operating procedures and parameters according to their supplier’s requirements.
