  • Product Details
  • Product Description

This series of products is made by melting, extruding, and grinding an epoxy resin matrix combined with zinc powder as the main component, along with necessary pigments and additives. It boasts excellent anti-corrosion performance.

    Storage conditions

Under conditions where the temperature is below 25℃ and the relative humidity is below 60%, the shelf life is 6 months. If the storage period exceeds 6 months, the product must undergo re-inspection before it can be used.

    Powder curing requirements

Cure the primer layer at 180℃ for 8 minutes or at 200℃ for 5 minutes (workpiece temperature), with a thickness of 60–80 μm, then apply the topcoat and cure it completely.

The normal coating thickness for spray-applied coatings is 60–80 μm. The coating thickness of a product can affect its ultimate corrosion resistance. The relevant test results are obtained under the premise of substrate and operational processes and parameters that meet the corresponding standard requirements (or specific requirements). These results may differ from the actual performance achieved on substrates using the customer’s own operational processes and parameters. Moreover, the tests were conducted under laboratory conditions and are intended for reference only. The following performance data are based on composite coatings with a zinc-rich primer layer of 60–80 μm and a topcoat layer of 60–80 μm.

    Operation Process and Parameters

Common steel: Zinc phosphate treatment or sandblasting treatment

    # If phosphating is performed, the substrate must be thoroughly cleaned to remove oils and then dried before treatment. After phosphating, chromium passivation is required; otherwise, the final powder coating performance will fail to meet the specified requirements.

    # If sandblasting is performed, the sandblasting grade must reach R2.5. The workpiece surface temperature should be lower than the dew point temperature plus 3 degrees Celsius to prevent condensation. After sandblasting, the primer must be applied within 4 hours.
