  • Product Description

This product series is a thermosetting powder coating composed primarily of epoxy resin and acrylic resin, supplemented with necessary pigments, fillers, and additives. It is produced through melt extrusion and grinding, and boasts excellent physical, chemical, and decorative properties. Depending on requirements, this product series can be formulated into products with varying curing temperatures (140℃ to 200℃), different surface textures (smooth, sand-textured, or brushed), and diverse gloss levels (10% to 90%). Compared to conventional blended products, this product series features superior weather resistance and exceptionally high hardness, reaching up to 4H.

    Storage conditions

Under conditions where the temperature is below 30℃ and the relative humidity is below 60%, the shelf life is 6 months. If the shelf life exceeds 6 months, the product must undergo re-inspection before it can be used.

    Powder curing requirements

180℃ for 15 minutes (workpiece temperature); 200℃ for 10 minutes (workpiece temperature); for matte finishes, extend the duration by 5 minutes—refer to the product’s test report for details. Note: When using this product, it may significantly interfere with other flat-surface products.

For standard products, the coating thickness typically ranges from 60 to 80 μm; for textured products, the coating thickness varies depending on the size of the texture. Exceeding the specified coating thickness may result in pinholes or inconsistencies in the texture. The test results presented here were obtained under the premise of using substrates and operational processes and parameters that meet the corresponding standard requirements (or specific specifications). Consequently, the actual results achieved with the customer’s own operational processes and substrate parameters may differ. Moreover, these tests were conducted under laboratory conditions and are provided for reference purposes only. (The image cannot be opened.)

    Operation Process and Parameters

    • Common steel, zinc phosphate treatment
    • Galvanized steel sheet, iron phosphate treatment
    • Aluminum material, chromate treatment

Before the above processing steps, the substrate must be thoroughly cleaned to remove any oil and grease, and then dried. The drying temperature should not exceed 200℃ to avoid damaging the operational process and film parameters, which could result in the final powder coating performance failing to meet the required standards.

Before spraying castings (especially those that have been poured) and hot-dip galvanized parts, it is essential to heat them at high temperatures to remove any internal moisture and gases, thus preventing the formation of bubbles. Please also notify us in advance so that we can make appropriate adjustments to the formulation.

Note: Customers should periodically inspect the quality of operating procedures and parameters according to their supplier’s requirements.
